At Dr Sknn, we provide a sophisticated Fractional CO2 Laser treatment which can make a remarkable improvement to the appearance of scarring. This treatment acts by activating the generation of new skin in the dermis and epidermis by means of ablation and thermal effect. Our special mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is highly efficient in dealing with scars, decreasing the presence of skin surface irregularities and unwelcome scars. This procedure can enhance skin thickness and hydration, resulting in a healthier and more youthful-looking complexion. With our advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we can assist you in achieving a softer, more even-toned skin and enhance your self-assurance.

Doctor Led Scarred Face - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Scarred Face

At Dr Sknn, a comprehensive consultation will be held prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, covering your medical history and physical examination, along with taking photographs. This offers the opportunity for you to raise any queries, expectations, outcomes or concerns you may have. Beforehand, any potential risks and post-treatment advice relating to the CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be discussed in depth and a consent form will be signed to ensure you are wholly aware of the process. If the area is having the treatment for the first time, a small patch test will be carried out to confirm its suitability. If your skin type is III+, a topical serum may have to be used for four weeks before the treatment to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and compatibility for the procedure are essential, so a full consultation will be conducted to assess if you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. Following a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can be performed. Though, if certain treatments appear in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. In the event that your skin type is III+, a topical product may be needed for four weeks prior to the treatment.
