At Dr Sknn, we offer a refined Fractional CO2 Laser treatment that can significantly improve the look of scarring. This approach works by kick-starting the development of fresh skin in the epidermis and dermis through ablation and thermal effect. The laser is released in an exact, regular pattern with spaced-out pulses, keeping the tissue between and permitting a swifter healing process. Our unique mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is very successful in addressing scars, lessening the visibility of skin surface irregularities and unwelcome scars. This treatment can boost skin thickness and hydration, leading to a healthier and younger-looking complexion. With our advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we can assist you in achieving smoother, more even-toned skin and enhance your self-confidence.

Doctor Led Scarred Face Didsbury - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Scarred Face

At Dr Sknn, before any CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, a thorough consultation will take place, covering medical history, physical examination and photographs. This allows you to raise any queries, expectations, outcomes or worries you may have. Prior to the procedure, the potential risks and post-treatment advice regarding CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be discussed in detail and you will be asked to sign a consent form to ensure you are fully informed. When the area is being treated for the first time, a small patch test will be taken to determine suitability. Additionally, if your skin is identified as III+, a topical serum may have to be used for four weeks prior to the treatment to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, the utmost priority is safety and suitability for the procedure and a full consultation will be conducted to assess if you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. Once the patch test is successful after 48 hours, the treatment can be carried out. Nonetheless, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may be required for four weeks prior to the treatment.
