At Dr Sknn, we provide an innovative Fractional CO2 Laser treatment that can significantly improve the appearance of scarring. This treatment works by activating the development of new skin in the dermis and epidermis via ablation and thermal effects. The laser is emitted in an exact, regular pattern with spaced-out pulses, preserving the tissue in-between and allowing for a swifter healing process. Our exclusive mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is highly effective in dealing with scars, reducing the look of skin surface irregularities and unwelcome scars. This treatment can enhance skin thickness and hydration, resulting in a healthier and more youthful-looking complexion. With our sophisticated Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we can help you attain smoother, more even-toned skin and strengthen your self-confidence.

Doctor Led Scarred Face Old Trafford - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Scarred Face

At Dr Sknn, prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, a comprehensive consultation shall be conducted including your medical history and physical examination as well as photographs. This provides you with the opportunity to raise any queries, expectations, outcomes or worries you may have. Before the treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice relating to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment shall be discussed in detail and a consent form shall be signed to ensure you understand the process fully. When the area is being treated for the first time, a small patch test shall be undertaken to determine its suitability. Moreover, if your skin type is identified as III+, a topical serum might need to be used for four weeks before the treatment to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the procedure are of the utmost importance and a thorough consultation shall be conducted to assess whether you are eligible for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. After a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can be conducted. However, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. In the event your skin type is III+, a topical product may need to be used for four weeks before the procedure.
