At Dr Sknn, we provide an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment to significantly enhance the look of scars caused by various causes. This therapy assists in the growth of new skin in both the dermis and epidermis by means of ablation and thermal reaction. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is incredibly effective in addressing several aesthetic problems such as undesired scars, fine lines, wrinkles, discolouration, pigmented lesions, large pores, texture, sun damage, stretch marks, and sagging skin. The treatment can improve skin clarity, depth and hydration, resulting in a more youthful-looking and healthier complexion. At Dr Sknn, we are passionate about assisting you to achieve a smoother, more even skin tone, and increasing your self-assurance.

Doctor Led Scars - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Scars

At Dr Sknn, a comprehensive consultation will be held prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, covering your medical history and physical examination with photos. This gives you the opportunity to raise any concerns, expectations, outcomes or worries you have. Before the treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be explained in detail and a consent form will be signed to ensure you are fully informed of the procedure. When the area is being treated for the first time, a patch test will be conducted to ascertain its suitability. Additionally, if your skin type is classified as III+, a topical serum may have to be used for four weeks prior to the treatment to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the process is of utmost importance and a full consultation will be held to determine if you are suitable for CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment. Upon a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can be performed. Nevertheless, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may need to be used for four weeks prior to the treatment.
