At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment to significantly better the look of scars resulting from a range of causes. This treatment helps to cultivate fresh skin in the dermis and epidermis by means of ablation and thermal effect. The laser is applied using an accurate, ordered pattern with even spacing between each pulse, sheltering the tissue in between and accelerating the healing process. Our mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is incredibly useful in tackling a number of aesthetic concerns such as undesired scars, wrinkles, discolouration, pigmented lesions, large pores, texture, sun damage, stretch marks, and sagging skin. This treatment can enhance skin clarity, depth and hydration, leading to a more youthful-looking and healthier complexion. At Dr Sknn, we are devoted to helping you to accomplish a smoother, more even skin tone, and boost your self-confidence.

Doctor Led Scars Didsbury - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Scars

At Dr Sknn, prior to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment, a full consultation will be held to cover your medical history and physical exam, including taking photos. This provides you with the opportunity to ask questions, explain your expectations, outcomes, or concerns. Before the treatment, any risks and post-treatment advice relating to CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment will be discussed and a consent form signed to ensure you understand the process. For the first time, a small patch test will be done to determine suitability. Should your skin type be III+, a topical serum might need to be used four weeks before the procedure to prepare the skin. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment are paramount and a consultation will be conducted to assess eligibility. When the patch test is successful after 48 hours, the treatment can be done. Nevertheless, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may have to be extended to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may be necessary for four weeks prior to the treatment.
