A patch test may be necessary to determine your suitability for the treatment, if this is your first time receiving the procedure. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the treatment are of the utmost importance and a full consultation will be conducted to guarantee this. Should a successful patch test occur after 48 hours, the CO2 Ablative Fractional Laser Treatment can then be performed. However, if certain medications have been taken, the patch test may have to be extended for an additional two weeks. For skin type III+ a topical product may need to be applied for four weeks before the treatment.
