Previous to treatment, the potential risks and post-treatment advice linked to Fractional CO2 Laser treatment will be discussed in detail and a consent form will be signed to make sure you fully understand the procedure. If the area is being treated for the first time, a trial patch will be conducted to decide suitability. If your skin type is identified as III+, a topical serum could have to be used for four weeks before the treatment to get the skin ready. At Dr Sknn, safety and appropriateness for treatment are of utmost importance, and a full consultation will be done to evaluate your eligibility for the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. After a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can be carried out. But if some medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period could be extended up to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may have to be used for four weeks before the treatment.
