If you are having the area treated for the first time, a patch test will be done to ensure it is suitable. For those with skin type III+, a topical serum will need to be used for four weeks before the treatment. At Dr Sknn, safety and suitability for the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment is paramount, and a full consultation will be done to determine eligibility. If the patch test is successful after 48 hours, the treatment can be administered. However, if you are taking certain medications, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks.
