At Dr Skn, we conduct a thorough consultation before any Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This includes taking a detailed medical history, a physical examination and photographs. We encourage our clients to discuss their expectations, concerns, results and any questions they may have during the consultation. Before the treatment, we explain any post-treatment advice and the potential risks associated with the treatment to ensure our clients have a complete understanding. A consent form will also be signed. If it's a new area being treated, we perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. In case of skin type III+, we recommend a topical application of serum or product for four weeks prior to treatment. We prioritize safety and eligibility to treatment. As everyone's skin is unique, we customize our approach accordingly. We perform a patch test after consultation to confirm suitability. Depending on medical history and certain medications, patch testing may be extended to two weeks.
