CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that can effectively improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This treatment works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin surface, stimulating collagen production and enhancing the overall tone and texture of the skin. The laser beam is divided into thousands of tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area, providing a non-invasive solution that requires no downtime. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm can treat a variety of aesthetic concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks, and loose skin. This treatment improves skin complexion, ultimately resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin by allowing new skin production stimulated within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect delivered over the skin in a methodical even pattern with precise spacing between each laser emission, sparing the tissue in-between and resulting in a faster healing process. The results of this procedure are usually visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. It is suitable for all skin

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Cheadle - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing

At Dr Sknn, when you book a consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, we will take a detailed medical history and perform a physical examination, which may include taking photographs. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have. We will also discuss the post-treatment advice and any risks associated with the treatment, making sure you fully understand them before you sign a consent form. If it is the first time we are treating a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment. For patients with skin types of III+, a topical serum may need to be applied for 4 weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Sknn, we prioritize safety and eligibility for treatment. That's why we perform a full consultation and patch test to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. Following a successful patch test, we can deliver the treatment after 48 hours. Please note that patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history. Moreover, if you have skin type III+, a topical product may need to be applied for 4 weeks before the treatment.
