When you visit Dr Sknn for a Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you'll first undergo a thorough consultation that includes a medical history, physical examination and photographs. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and discuss your concerns, expectations and desired results. The risks and post-treatment advice will also be explained in detail, and you'll be required to sign a consent form. In cases where a new area is being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If your skin type is III or higher, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
