At Dr Skn, when you attend your consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, a thorough medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs. This will provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have, as well as your expectations and desired results. Prior to treatment, our team will discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment to ensure that you fully understand them. If it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. In addition, if you have skin type III or higher, a topical application of serum may be necessary for four weeks before the treatment. Safety and eligibility are of the highest priority at Dr Skn, and so we perform a full consultation before treatment to ensure that it's suitable for you. Following a successful patch test, we can deliver the treatment 48 hours later, but please be aware that patch testing may be extended to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history. Again, if you have skin type III or higher, a topical application of product may be needed for four weeks before treatment.
