CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of skin irregularities, wrinkles, and scars. This laser treatment targets and removes a fraction of the skin's surface, which stimulates the production of collagen and improves the overall texture and tone of the skin. The laser beam is split into thousands of micro-columns and is delivered to the affected area, making it an effective treatment for wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, skin discoloration, and laxity. The CO2 fractional ablative laser is non-invasive and requires no downtime, making it a safe and effective way to reduce skin irregularities and improve skin tone and texture. This laser treatment can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. Results are typically visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we use an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. The laser emits precise patterns with spacing between each laser emission, sparing the tissue in between and resulting in a faster healing process. We use this mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat various aesthetic concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Henbury - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Sknn for a consultation on Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, the medical team will begin by conducting a thorough medical history review, as well as a physical examination that includes photographs. During the consultation, you'll have the opportunity to voice any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. Before treatment begins, the medical team will discuss any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, ensuring that you have a full understanding and then a consent form will be signed. If this is your first time having this treatment on a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. If you have skin type III or higher, a topical serum may be required for four weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Sknn, your safety and eligibility for treatment are paramount, so a full consultation will be performed to ensure that the treatment is appropriate for you. A patch test will also be performed to check for any adverse reactions. If no complications arise within 48 hours, the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment can proceed. However, if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch test may be extended to two weeks. In addition, a topical product may be required for four weeks prior to treatment for individuals with skin type III or higher.
