CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment commonly used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. The laser works by targeting and removing a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production, resulting in an overall improvement in skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of tiny micro-columns and delivered to the affected area. This non-invasive procedure is often used to treat skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks, among other skin irregularities. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser requires no downtime and is safe and effective. It can be used on various parts of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and arms. The results are usually noticeable within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser, used at 10,600 nm, effectively treats a variety of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, and skin surface irregularities. Our laser treatment ultimately improves the thickness and hydration of the skin, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance.

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Hyde - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Skn for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, the first step is a consultation where a thorough medical history will be taken, followed by a physical examination and photographs. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the treatment, and discuss your expectations and concerns. The risks associated with the treatment and any post-treatment advice will also be explained to you, and a consent form will be signed to ensure you fully understand them. If you are having a new area treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. At Dr Skn, safety and eligibility for treatment are top priorities, so a full consultation will be carried out before any treatment takes place. If you are found suitable, a patch test will be performed, and if successful, treatment can be carried out 48 hours later. Please note that if certain medications are found during your medical history, the patch test may need to be extended to two weeks. If you have skin type III+, a topical product may need to be applied for four weeks before treatment.
