This is also an opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, or questions you may have, as well as any risks associated with the treatment. We will only proceed with treatment once you have fully understood the advice given and have signed a consent form. If it is a new area being treated, a patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical serum or product may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Skn, we prioritize your safety and well-being, which is why we perform a patch test before any treatment, as there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Please note that patch testing may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history.
