Before the treatment, all post-treatment advice and risks will be discussed with you to ensure that you fully understand them, and a consent form will be signed. If it's your first time receiving treatment in a specific area, a small patch test will be conducted to determine suitability. For those with skin types of III or higher, a topical application of serum may be required four weeks prior to treatment. At Dr Sknn, safety and eligibility for treatment are the top priorities, and a full consultation and patch test will be performed before any treatment is administered. If no issues arise during the patch test, treatment can begin 48 hours later. Please note that the patch test may be extended to two weeks if certain medications are found in your medical history. Additionally, those with skin types of III or higher may require a topical product application four weeks prior to treatment.
