During the consultation, a thorough medical history will be taken, followed by a physical examination which includes photographs. This is also an opportunity for you to express any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have regarding the treatment. Before the procedure, we will discuss the post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment to ensure that you fully understand them. We will also obtain your consent by signing a consent form. If it's a new area being treated, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure that it is suitable for you. If your skin type is III or above, a topical application of serum may be needed four weeks prior to the treatment. After the consultation and patch test, we will determine your eligibility for the treatment, as not everyone is suitable. Following successful patch tests, the treatment can be performed after 48 hours, although patch testing may be extended up to two weeks if certain medications were found during your medical history. If you have skin type III or above, a topical application of product may be needed four weeks before the treatment to ensure the best possible results.
