CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of the skin by treating wrinkles, scars and other skin irregularities. This laser therapy functions by removing a fraction of the skin's surface to promote collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture. The laser beam is divided into numerous micro-columns which are directed to the affected area. It is a non-invasive treatment that is used to treat wrinkles, skin discoloration, age spots, acne scars and other skin issues. This laser treatment is also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and skin laxity. Unlike other laser treatments, the CO2 fractional ablative laser does not require any downtime and is a safe and effective way to reduce the appearance of skin irregularities, improve skin tone and texture. It can be used on any area of the body, including the face, neck, chest, abdomen and arms. Results can usually be seen within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for the face, neck, décolleté and body areas, which stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis through ablation and thermal effect. The tissue in-between is spared resulting in a faster healing process. This specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm treats a variety of aesthetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia, pigmented lesions, skin surface irregularities, enlarged pores, texture, unwanted scars, sun damage, stretch marks and loose skin. The treatment improves pitting of the skin

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Laser Knutsford - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing Laser

At Dr Skn, we offer Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, which is an effective way to improve skin texture, tone, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars. During the initial consultation, our medical team will conduct a thorough medical history, physical examination and take photographs to evaluate your skin's condition. This is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, expectations, results and ask any questions you may have. We will also discuss the post-treatment advice and the potential risks associated with the treatment, to ensure you are fully informed before signing a consent form. In case of a new area being treated, a patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment. For those with a skin type of III+, a topical serum may be required for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are our highest priority, and a full consultation will be conducted to ensure you are suitable for the treatment. If deemed appropriate, a patch test will be performed, and treatment will be administered after 48 hours post patch testing, provided the test is successful. Please note that the patch testing period may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are found during your medical history. Additionally, those with skin type III+ may require a topical product application for 4 weeks before the treatment.
