You will also receive information about post-treatment care and any associated risks to ensure you fully understand the process before signing a consent form. Additionally, if you're receiving treatment on a new area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. However, if you have a skin type of III+, a topical product may need to be applied for 4 weeks prior to treatment to ensure the best possible results.
