CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment that is commonly used to address various skin irregularities, including wrinkles and scars. This procedure works by selectively targeting and removing a fraction of the surface of the skin, which triggers the body's natural healing process and leads to collagen production, ultimately resulting in a more even skin tone and texture. Unlike other laser treatments, CO2 fractional ablative laser is a non-invasive procedure that does not require downtime. It is a safe and effective way to improve the appearance of fine lines, skin discoloration, acne scars, age spots, and laxity in the skin, among other concerns. This treatment can be used on any part of the body, and the results are usually visible within a few weeks and can last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for face, neck, décolleté and body areas. Our specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm is used to stimulate new skin production and treat a variety of aesthetic concerns. By delivering the laser emission in a methodical even pattern with precise spacing, the tissue in-between is spared, resulting in a faster healing process. This treatment improves the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, ultimately resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Lymm - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing

When you book a consultation at Dr Skn, you will undergo a comprehensive medical history and physical examination, which will include photographs of the area to be treated. This is to ensure that any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have can be fully discussed during the consultation. Before undergoing the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you will receive a detailed explanation of the associated risks and any post-treatment advice you may need to follow. In addition, a consent form will be signed to confirm your understanding of the procedure. If it's the first time you are receiving treatment on a particular area, a small patch test will be performed to ensure the suitability of the treatment. At Dr Skn, the safety and eligibility of our patients is of utmost importance, and we take the time to fully assess each individual before proceeding with treatment. If you have skin type III or above, you may need to undergo a topical application of serum or product for four weeks prior to the treatment to ensure maximum efficacy. Following a successful patch test, the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment can be administered within 48 hours, although this may be extended to 2 weeks if certain medications are detected during your medical history.
