During the consultation, we conduct a thorough medical history review and physical examination that includes taking photographs of the area being treated. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. Before the treatment, we discuss any potential risks associated with it, and provide post-treatment advice. We also perform a small patch test to ensure suitability for the treatment, especially for new areas being treated. If your skin type is III+, we may require a topical application of serum or product for 4 weeks prior to the treatment. At Dr Skn, we understand that everyone's needs are unique, so a one-size-fits-all approach is not appropriate. If you are found to be eligible for treatment, we perform the treatment 48 hours after a successful patch test. However, if you have taken certain medications, the patch test may be extended to 2 weeks.
