At Dr Skn, when you come in for a consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, the medical staff will take a detailed medical history and perform a physical examination that includes taking photographs of the area to be treated. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns, expectations, results, or questions you may have. The staff will also go over any post-treatment advice and risks associated with the treatment, making sure that you fully understand them before you sign a consent form. Additionally, if you're having a new area treated, a small patch test will be done to ensure that you're a suitable candidate for the treatment. If your skin type is III or higher, you may need to use a topical serum or product for four weeks before treatment.
