At Dr Skn, our priority is to ensure the safety and suitability of our clients for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. During the initial consultation, which includes a physical examination and photographs, a thorough medical history is taken to identify any potential risks or concerns. This is also an opportunity for clients to discuss their expectations, results and ask any questions they may have. Before treatment, we will discuss the post-treatment advice and risks associated with the Fractional CO2 Laser, and a consent form will be signed. If it's the first time treating a particular area, we'll perform a small patch test to ensure suitability. For clients with a skin type of III+, a topical application of serum may be needed for four weeks before treatment. Following a successful patch test, we can deliver the treatment after 48 hours. However, if certain medications were found during the medical history, the patch testing may be extended to two weeks.
