CO2 fractional ablative laser is a type of laser treatment used to improve the appearance of skin irregularities such as wrinkles and scars. The laser targets and removes a fraction of the skin's surface to stimulate collagen production and improve skin tone and texture. The laser beam is split into thousands of micro-columns which are delivered to the affected area, treating a variety of concerns including acne scars, age spots, and stretch marks. This non-invasive procedure is safe and effective, requiring no downtime. It can be used on any area of the body and produces results within weeks that last for several months. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser for face, neck, décolleté and body areas. Using mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm, our treatment stimulates new skin production within the dermis and epidermis resulting in improved skin thickness, hydration and a more youthful appearance. It treats a variety of aesthetic concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, pigmented lesions, sun damage and texture irregularities, resulting in a healthier, glowing complexion.

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Romiley - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing

When you visit Dr Skn, you'll undergo a thorough medical history review, a physical examination and photographs will be taken as part of your consultation for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. This is the perfect opportunity to discuss any concerns, questions, expectations or results you may have. Before proceeding with the treatment, any potential risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed to ensure you have a complete understanding of the procedure, and a consent form will be signed. If the treatment is being performed on a new area, a small patch test will be conducted to confirm suitability. If you have skin type III or higher, a topical serum may be required for four weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility for treatment are our top priorities at Dr Skn. We believe that one size doesn't fit all, so after a thorough consultation, a patch test will be performed to confirm your suitability for the treatment. Once the patch test is successful and 48 hours have passed, we will proceed with the Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. However, please note that the patch test may be extended for up to two weeks if certain medications were discovered during your medical history review. Additionally, if you have skin type III or higher, a topical product may need to be applied for four weeks prior to the treatment.
