CO2 fractional ablative laser is a popular laser treatment used to enhance the appearance of skin by reducing wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. This treatment works by removing a fraction of the surface of the skin through thousands of micro-columns that target the affected area, stimulating collagen production and improving skin tone and texture. The CO2 fractional ablative laser is effective in treating various skin irregularities, such as age spots, acne scars, and stretch marks, and can be used on any area of the body. Unlike other laser treatments, this procedure is non-invasive and requires no downtime. At Dr Sknn, we offer an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser treatment for the face, neck, décolleté, and body areas, using a specific mid-infrared CO2 laser at 10,600 nm to treat a range of aesthetic concerns. This laser treatment promotes new skin production within the dermis and epidermis, resulting in faster healing and improved skin hydration and thickness. By reducing skin hyperplasia, sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, and improving skin complexion, this laser treatment can help achieve a healthy, youthful, and glowing appearance of the skin.

Doctor Led Skin Resurfacing Salford - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Skin Resurfacing

At Dr Skn, your safety and eligibility for treatment are of the utmost importance. During your consultation, a thorough medical history will be taken, including a physical examination and photographs. This is to ensure that any concerns, expectations, results or questions you may have can be discussed, and that any risks associated with the treatment can be fully explained to you. If it is a new area being treated, a small patch test will be performed to ensure suitability. In addition, if you have a skin type of III or higher, a topical serum or product may be needed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Once you have been deemed suitable for treatment, a patch test will be performed, and treatment can be administered 48 hours later, provided the patch test is successful. However, if certain medications were found during your medical history, the patch testing may need to be extended to 2 weeks. Rest assured that at Dr Skn, your safety and satisfaction are our top priority, and we will do everything we can to ensure that you receive the best possible care when undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment.
