Prior to the treatment, you will receive post-treatment advice and be informed of any risks associated with the procedure to ensure you fully understand them before signing a consent form. If the area being treated is new, a small patch test will be conducted to ensure suitability. For those with skin type III+, a topical application of serum may be necessary for 4 weeks before treatment. Safety and eligibility are top priorities at Dr Skn, and a full consultation is always performed to determine suitability for treatment. If suitable, a patch test is carried out, and treatment can be delivered 48 hours later if the test is successful. However, if certain medications are found during the medical history, the patch test may be extended up to 2 weeks. For skin type III+, a topical product may be needed for 4 weeks before treatment.
