For the first time, a patch test will be carried out to determine its suitability. If your skin type is classified as III+, a topical serum may have to be used for four weeks ahead of the treatment to prepare the skin. Upon a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can be administered. If certain medications are in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended to two weeks.
