By emitting light in particular wavelength ranges, our Dr Sknn team are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to treat Spider Naevi of various sizes and depths with minimal harm to the surrounding skin. Post-treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body and there is no sign of the original lesion.

Utilising IPL at Dr Sknn, we take advantage of light energy which is absorbed by the Spider Naevi, heating them to a point of spasm or collapse and sealing them shut. Subsequently, over the ensuing weeks, the impaired vessels are taken in by the body's natural processes, leaving little to no trace of the original lesion.
