By giving out rays of light in highly specific wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in both haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin, allowing us to treat a variety of Spider Nevi at diverse sizes and depths, while causing minimal damage to the skin around it. Following the treatment, the damaged vessels are absorbed by the body and often, little or no trace of the original lesion remains.

At our practice, we make use of IPL to exploit light energy, which is absorbed by the Spider Nevi, heating them up to a point that causes them to go into spasm or collapse, and seal them. Afterward, the impaired vessels are naturally absorbed by the body, so that very little trace of the original lesion is left.
