As well, if your skin type is determined to be III+, a topical serum may be needed for four weeks in advance of the treatment to ready the skin. After a successful patch test after 48 hours, the treatment can be done. However, if certain medications are present in your medical history, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks.
