Doctor Led Stretch Marks Treatments Shevington - Benefits

Why Choose Dr Sknn for Stretch Marks Treatments

At Dr Sknn, before any Fractional CO2 Laser treatment is carried out a full consultation will be held. This will involve discussing your medical history, undertaking a physical examination as well as taking photos. This is your chance to voice any queries, expectations, potential outcomes or worries you may have. Prior to the treatment, all potential risks and post-treatment advice will be discussed and you will be asked to sign a consent form to ensure you understand the process completely. If this is the first time the area is being treated, a patch test will be done to make sure it is suitable. In addition, if your skin type is classed as III+, you may need to apply a topical serum for four weeks before the treatment in order to prepare your skin. The safety and suitability of the procedure are of utmost importance to us at Dr Sknn, so a full consultation will be done to determine if you are eligible for Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. If the patch test is successful after 48 hours, the treatment can go ahead. However, if certain medications are present in your medical records, the patch testing period may be extended up to two weeks. If your skin type is III+, a topical product may be required for four weeks before the treatment.
