At Dr Sknn we make use of the Lynton Lumina, a leading-edge Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL) also employed by the NHS and exclusive hospitals in the United Kingdom, to safely and effectively deal with Telangiectasia on skin types I-IV. By emitting light in particular wavelength ranges, we are able to target absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin which makes it possible to treat Telangiectasia at different sizes and at different depths while causing minimal damage to the adjoining skin. After treatment, the impaired vessels are taken in by the body and little or no evidence of the initial lesion is left.

At Dr Sknn, we exploit the power of IPL and its luminous energy. The light is taken up by the blood vessels, heated to a stage where they contract and/or shut down, thus forming a seal. In the proceeding weeks, the impaired vessels are assimilated into the body, with hardly any remains of the original lesion.
