By emitting light at particular wavelength ranges, the absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin can be targeted resulting in being able to treat Telangiectasia of different sizes and depths while causing minimal injury to the adjacent skin. After treatment, the broken vessels are taken in by the body and little or no trace of the original lesion remains.
