By producing light in certain wavelength ranges, at Dr Sknn absorption peaks of haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin can be targeted, allowing us to treat Telangiectasias of different sizes and depths while causing minimal harm to the surrounding skin. Upon completion of the treatment, the damaged vessels are taken in by the body, leaving little or no mark of the original lesion.

At Dr Sknn, IPL is employed to exploit light energy, resulting in the blood vessels becoming heated to the point where they spasm or cease functioning and are blocked. Over the subsequent weeks, the damaged vessels are naturally eliminated by the body, so that no evidence of the initial lesion is visible.
