Treating Spider Veins Goostrey

At Dr Sknn we utilise the Lynton Lumina, a cutting-edge Intense Pulsed Light System (IPL), which is widely used by the NHS and private hospitals across Britain, to safely and effectively treat Spider Veins on skin types I-IV. By emitting light in distinct wavelength ranges, we are able to target the absorption peaks in haemoglobin and oxy-haemoglobin at Dr Sknn, allowing us to treat Spider Veins of different sizes and depths, whilst causing minimal harm to the neighbouring tissue. After treatment, the damaged vessels are naturally absorbed by the body, leaving little to no trace of the original lesion.

Through the use of IPL, at Dr Sknn we make use of light energy; the light is absorbed by the blood vessels, which heat them up enough to cause them to go into spasm and/or contract, sealing off. Over the next few weeks, the damaged vessels are removed naturally by the body resulting in little or no indication of the initial lesion.
