When treatment is completed, the affected vessels are reabsorbed by the body, leaving almost no evidence of the initial lesion.

At Dr Sknn, IPL is used to take advantage of light energy, with the luminosity being taken up by the blood vessels, which are then warmed up to a point where they contract and/or get blocked off.
